The company has undertaken wide range of engineering projects including the construction and rehabilitation of schools, hospitals/health facilities, hotels, roads, bridges and culverts, boreholes, private accommodation, road marking etc. The company is also in the business rental of construction equipment and earth moving machines, manufacture blocks of different types and sizes, and different mix of concretes from their block making facilities located at Sussex and concrete batching plant located at Murray Town.

Key Purpose
Senior Construction Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the construction project life-cycle spanning from roadway infrastructure to commercial building construction, in accordance with the approved project documentation and employer-client agreement. The candidate must be able to provide strategic direction, ensure technical excellence, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. This role combines client leadership, operational management, and strong financial acumen with a focus on quality, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management
- Independently lead the end-to-end delivery of multi-phase road construction and commercial building projects from pre-construction through commissioning.
- Study and prepare the scope of works, terms of reference, contracts, budgets, time schedules and all other technical requirements for all construction phases.
- Review and interpret project designs and contract specifications in terms of BIM-based planning and suitability to overall requirements, including identifying improvements and proposing practical solutions and alternatives.
- Site supervision and follow up with engineering and construction contractors’ obligations on site including inspections, quantity surveying and other project implementation issues.
- Advice the constructors/contractors on ways to maximize the efficient resource utilization through procurement of labor, materials and equipment according to the set construction schedules and plans.

Monitoring and Evaluation
- Maintain records, compile and check daily progress reports on construction activities, procurement and others according to the agreed timeframe and other standard procedures.
- Follow up and report on the project objectives and plans including any delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, and setting performance requirements.
- Manage project financials: cost control, cash flow forecasting, earned value management, and financial reporting.
- Oversee quality assurance/quality control programs, inspections, test plans, and commissioning activities.
- Oversee safety management systems and site safety culture, and regulatory compliance (ESMP, environmental permits, traffic management plans etc).
- Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment, compliance with all codes and adherence to occupational health and safety regulations
- Monitor and update the project risk register, and escalate any issues and concerns to the management in a timely manner.
- Identify and control any environmental risks that can affect the site or the neighboring domestic areas around the sites.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Ensure solid working relationship and effective engagement of clients, government agencies, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers with an aim to enhancing ownership.
- Manage communication and information flows between and across all stakeholders, including presentations, progress reports, and executive summaries as per client requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve any issues and/ or disputes in a participatory and consultative manner.
- Ensure timely organization of senior management meetings, and advise on issues that may impact the achievement of project deliverables.
- Lead and develop various project teams and monitor and evaluate their performance.
- Promote sustainability and environmental stewardship in design and construction practices.
- Ensure alignment with company policies, standards, and industry best practices.
Education and Knowledge
- Masters in Civil Engineering/Construction Management/Project Management or related fields
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager with proven track record of managing complex projects in both civil (roadways, bridges, utilities) and commercial buildings (mixed-use, retail, office etc.) with budgets ranging from 5 to 10 million USD
- Proficiency with project management and BIM software (e.g., MS Project/Primavera P6, BIM, AutoCAD/Revit, MS Excel advanced)
- Relevant professional bodies membership and/or professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent preferred
- Proven financial, procurement and subcontractor management
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
