Role Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the highest standards of quality compliance in the medical diagnostics services provided by EcoMed to maintain optimum patient experience.

Work closely with other departments to implement quality improvement initiatives and develop strategies to meet the healthcare regulatory requirements in Sierra Leone. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality-related regulations and policies and keep abreast with any developments made to these regulations.
  • Lead in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all processes and systems in the company are functioning at optimum levels at all times.
  • Develop systems to monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided in real-time.
  • Identify all quality red flags, notify the General Manager immediately, and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Lead in developing quality improvement initiatives and work closely with other departments to implement them.
  • Develop and submit periodic quality compliance tracking reports to management and advise on appropriate actions as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality assurance processes and procedures for other staff members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to healthcare quality assurance and advise Management accordingly.
  • Any other duties as reasonably assigned.

 

Education and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, a master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and best practices in Sierra Leone.
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of ISO standards for healthcare providers.
