Role Purpose 

The Human Resources Director will lead and implement the HR strategy and operations for Orange Liberia, in alignment with Group policy and local specificities. She / He will ensure alignment with the company’s goals, fostering a positive work environment, and employee engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

01. Strategic HR Leadership and business partnering

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic and trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all HR matters.
  • Support managers on all HR related topics: Organization design, discipline, workforce planning.

02. Talent Management

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent, and ensure the company has the right skill to deliver its strategic objectives. She/he will identify and develop key talents, and be a successor for critical positions
  • Lead performance management processes and career development programs.

03. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.

04. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure fair and competitive compensation practices aligned with Group guidelines and market needs
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll processes effectively.
  • Monitor workforce costs, headcount and other HR KPI’s
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Manage employee relations and anticipate social risk in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

05. Change Management

  • Support organizational changes and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead HR-related transformation projects in alignment with company goals.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR roles, 3 to 5 years in leadership role preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus.
  • Language: English. Speaking French is a plus.
