Job Purpose:

The Sales Manager will assume leadership of the car division, drive sales growth strategies, build and manage strong client relationships, and ensure the creation of appealing packages for company clients. The candidate will execute effective and impactful sales strategies, planning and implementing sales and marketing initiatives targeted at both existing and new markets

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development, Negotiation and Operations

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
  • Understand customer’s quotations and plan the next order.
  • Proactively pursue potential clients and maintain follow-up communication.
  • Manage car inventories and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure the availability of vehicles.
  • Ensure efficient sales operations, including order processing, and inventory management.
  • Set sales targets and develop sales plans to achieve or exceed them. 
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.

 

Customer Relationship Management and Market Research

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients/ customers such as mining and corporate.
  • Address the needs of the customer and provide solutions to increase their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up to date with competitor’s activities and customers’ preferences.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to customers to promote available and potential cars.
  • Lead negotiations with potential and existing customers.
  • Identify and develop new market segments and channels for car distribution.
  • Develop marketing campaign strategies/ promotional and sales initiatives and ensure follow up with media and advertisement service providers.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company car products.
  • Any other duties that are reasonably assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in car sales management with a focus on car dealerships.
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and customer preference.
