Key Purpose

APCON Enterprise (SL) LTD is working on the solar PV installation of 404 stand-alone systems across Sierra Leone.

APCON Enterprise (SL) LTD is seeking four (4) hires for the Material Delivery Officer position at the Sierra Leone project office. The candidates will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to project sites and vice versa in a safe, timely manner.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Assist with the timely fulfilment and delivery of products from warehouse to site and vice versa.
  • Work with project team members, warehouse personnel, and other company employees to meet set goals.
  • Receive the shipment properly by inspecting the loaded materials against the prepared documents.
  • Handover of the delivered materials at the site should be accompanied by proper documents.
  • Collect surplus items from the construction site and return them to the warehouse with the necessary supporting documents.
  • Assist in material inventory at the main warehouse.
  • Assist site teams in local purchases and site settlements.
  • Make use of available documents properly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Knowledge

  • Diploma/Vocational/technical school certificate.
  • 3+ years’ experience in material handling.
  • Must be willing to conduct regular movement on site.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software.

  • Possess the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
