Key Purpose
HR Support Officer (Client Based) is responsible for implementing Afriqia’s HR interventions / strategies in the clients’ workspace and also support in leading out their required HR functions as agreed upon with clients.
This role primarily serves as the first point of contact between the assigned client and Afriqia for all issues related to the respective HR intervention being implemented.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support in developing, managing and monitoring assigned client’s project work plan.
- Responsible for developing and submitting periodic status updates/ check-ins/ reports of the specific project/ HR interventions.
- Ensure all intervention recommendations for assigned client are implemented as per timelines and report any challenges or foreseeable delays in project deliverables immediately.
- Make data-driven recommendations for relevant updates or tweaks needed for the successful implementation of assigned project deliverables.
- Support in the daily HR functional operations of the client.
- Serve as HR knowledge hub for the assigned client for general HR related enquiries and liaise with in-office team when clarification is needed.
- Support in training plan development and delivery for assigned clients if required.
- Collect and analyse relevant data to identify trends or patterns observed and provide insights to enable data-driven planning and decision-making.
- Support in managing assigned client’s HR records. (HR files and correspondences).
- Support in communicating policy documents to staff of assigned client to enhance understanding and compliance.
- Managing of assigned client’s HRMS if applicable.
- Support in developing policy / working documents and HR correspondences for assigned client.
- Support the transition process to integrate in house client HR staff when and if applicable.
- Carry out other duties that may be reasonably assigned.
Experience
- 7 + years progressive work experience in a similar role.
- Sound working knowledge of all key HR functions, systems, policies, processes and best practices.
- Very good computer skills (Microsoft packages and HRMS competency).
