Key Purpose
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Country’s Financial Controller in producing accurate and reliable financial information and driving the performance of several entities of AGL Group in Sierra Leone.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drive the forecast and budget processes of the legal entities within the framework of the Group budget process and guarantee the respect of deadlines, procedures, and deliverables.
- Actively contribute to the closing activities in collaboration with the financial accountants to ensure accurate information and provide decision & ad hoc reporting to all business partners.
- Perform the performance analysis in collaboration with operations teams.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to the management team to best take necessary decisions for the daily business as well as strategic development.
- Drive the investment purchases process and monitor disbursements.
- Be an active actor in the Internal Control System by performing specific regular controls.
- Provide leadership for continuous improvement in all areas of controlling & contribute to the evolution of the controlling tools.
- Perform his/her tasks in full transparency with other Finance departments and with a collaborative spirit.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Education and Experience
- Graduate from Business School (option Finance/Controlling/Audit) or any related field.
- 3+ years of experience in audit or management control.
- Possess strong knowledge in controlling & accounting, finance.
- Excellent skills in Office Suite with proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediary level and more).
