Position Overview

2E Systems (SL) Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s operations. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, maintaining exceptional service quality, and upholding the company’s core values and commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a proven track record of success in the engineering or related industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team to consistently deliver results and exceed client expectations.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.


  • Operational Management
  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, including project management, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols across all projects and activities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Client Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through superior service delivery.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company’s client base and secure new contracts through strategic business development efforts.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations proactively.


  • Financial Performance
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to monitor and optimise profitability.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies to maximise revenue, minimise expenses, and achieve targeted financial goals.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to the managing Director, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


  • Team Development and Management
  • Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organisation, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to staff members, empowering them to reach their full potential and contribute to overall success.
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and open communication across departments and functional areas.

 

Qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, STEM or Economics; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a leadership role within the engineering or construction industry, with a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, practices, and technologies, with expertise in power systems, infrastructure, and related fields.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning skills, and financial management capabilities, with the ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and achieve targeted results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships with clients, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and integrity, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, software applications, and business systems relevant to the industry.
  • Factory and corporate experience are also welcome.
